Austin or Tallahassee - which one should i pick?

I am a Chinese student. I have no idea on American cities. I have recieved two offers from Uni of Texas at Austin and Florida State Uni at Tallahassee ( The major is sport management). Except considering their rankings or levels, I wanna know something about these two cities-Austin and Tallahasse. Which one is nearly a metropolis and is more modern? In which one there are more opportunities to hunt jobs? And any other information about them can help me make the final decision. Thank u!!Austin or Tallahassee - which one should i pick?
Austin
Austin all the way. Much larger city with around 600,000 people.

Also Austin is located to several larger metropolitans such as Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas which are 1-3 hours away.

Austin is definitely an up and coming area very modern.

Tallahassee is not a bad city just not as vibrant as Austin. Also Tallahassee is far from the rest of Florida. about 3.5 hours to Tampa and 7 hours to Miami. Tallahassee has one distinct advantage of being much closer to a large body of water.

Job Hunt is probably pretty equal as Florida and Texas are both thriving states and both have the advantage of no state taxes.Austin or Tallahassee - which one should i pick?
Both schools have excellent athletic programs so they are excellent choices for your major. Austin is considered the live music capital of the USA. Plenty of large companies are located in Austin. Tallahassee is smaller. It consists mainly of Florida's state capital and the university and not much else.
I would say you should pick Austin, unless you're not real happy there now. If you're questioning Austin I think Tallahassee would be a great 2nd choice. The university atmosphere of a great school is hard to match.
I went to school in Austin and LOVE the city. It is modern, hip, eclectic, and fun. There is always something to do. Lots of international students and student organizations -UT is the biggest college in the country.. There is live music, trails, great restaurants- all around great city. It is a good tech atmosphere and is a metropolis- just not in the way LA and Houston are. I don't know much about Tallahassee but I've never met a person who doesn't like Austin,Tx. Austin is also within 3 hrs of Houston and Dallas (two very big metropolis with lots of sports teams) and 1.5 hrs away from San Antonio. It is about 3 hrs from the beach (albeit not as nice at Florida beaches but beaches none the less). Hope this helps.

Austin (I live in Austin)

Come for a weekend...you might stay!
Just a tip on Austin....if you enjoy music, Austin is considered the Live Music Capital of the world. Lot's of opps for college students and wonderful atmosphere that is very college friendly. The slogan...Keep Austin Wierd. That just about says it right???? Oh yeah...and nothing is bettere than being a Longhorn.
Note:

Austin is considered the Live Music Capital... by Austinites, sorry to say. Plenty of other cities make the same claim.

Still, never been to Tallahassee, so I can't help you there.
Definatly Austin TX.
