We have 2 kids, 10 and 8. We have 1 extra day during vacation and are looking for a fun town to stop in. We are coming from Atlanta first, then on to Orlando.Which would be better for a one-night family stay? Tallahassee or Tampa FL?
Tampa. What is there to do in Tallahassee?
Like the other people have said, you could go to the beach or Busch Gardens. There's also the Lowry Park Zoo (voted #1 family zoo in the country) or the Florida Aquarium.

Tampa/Clearwater - spend the day at the beach - doesn't get much better than that!
