As I don't know Florida cabs rates I can only tell you what it would cost me.



Here cabs are $2.00 to start, $2.50 per mile, $0.63 per minute (used when car is stopped). According to yahoo maps for Tallahassee to Panama City the distance is 121.6 miles with a travel time of 122 minutes (approx). So with all that in mind...



The distance comes to $304.

+ I can only guess the red light factor so lets say 20 minutes making that $12.6 in time. Now because of the distance and time may charge you for time the whole way making that $78.86

+ The start fee of $2.00

Guessing anywhere from $318.75 - $385 on the meter total.



If you want to tip a nice 20% for wasting 4 hours (he does have to drive back without you you know) of a cab drives life that makes it $383 - $462 at the grand final.



*Of course for travels such as this I would recommend calling well ahead of time and schedule with dispatch because it could be far cheaper as they can just give you a solid flat rate for the job.
