What is there to do for fun in the Tallahassee area?

Here are a few fun things to do:



Challenger Center (on Kleman Plaza): IMAX theater and Planetarium



Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science (on Kleman Plaza): Includes Art and hands-on science experiments.



Museum of Florida History (behind the Florida State Supreme Court): Mastodon bones, old Florida style house, civil war artifacts, etc.



Tallahassee Museum: Panthers, Bears, Wolves, Alligators, Snakes, farm animals, aviary, visiting animal, and old Florida buildings (church, schoolhouse, mansion, etc.).



Museum in the old Capitol: Including the old Supreme Court, old chambers, and an old punch card ballot from the 2000 election.



Mission San Luis (off of W Tennessee St): Archaeological site of an old Indian village including a house, church, garden, and council house as they might have appear.



Maclay Gardens (off of Thomasville Rd): Beautiful gardens, swimming and picnic areas on Lake Hall.



The Fun Station on Sharer Rd.



Wakulla Springs: Swimming, boat rides, and the old lodge with a gift shop, sundries, and fine dining.
